Chameleon changes its color?
I think everyone knows that chameleon changes its color.
However, some people think that chameleons can change to any color, but that is not the case.
There are two ways to change the color of a chameleon: the panther chameleon discoloration method that has recently been elucidated and the other discoloration methods of other chameleons.

Other chameleons seem to be able to change the visible color by adjusting the cell size of various color cells. It seems that the size of these cells can be changed by light or heat from the outside, but the details have not been elucidated yet.
Except when it is basking, it is often in inside tree where branches are mixed up, but in that state the outline is not clear so it is really difficult to find.
